(T-DeJong Pan solo at I&E) - DeJong was in the snare line, yet volunteered to learn and play the steel drum for I&E under keyboard category. Jet flew over during performance and still received a 91.0. Solo was "Jig" transcribed by DeJong from from Andy Narell's "Stickman" album. After the season, DeJong took all the corps' borrowed practice pans, used in the pit back to Andy Narell. Had breakfest with his family and played this solo for Andy. What an honor!!
